Kingdom Life Community Resource Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit human services organization founded in 1992. Not only does it serve the congregants of Kingdom Life Christian Church, but it serves people of all faiths who live and work in its community.  The programs and services offered by the KLCRC are designed to fulfill its mission of empowering people with the knowledge, skills, and tools to lead independent, balanced, and successful lives.
KLCRC offers classes, support groups, pastoral counseling, and on-going programs in the areas of parenting, marriage (and marriage preparation), personal growth and development, education, finance and budgeting, career development, and addiction recovery.  And should the needs of a client reach beyond the capacity or capability of our developing referral service KLCRC will assist our clients in finding organizations within the community that will address their needs.
Joseph's Storehouse, our primary outreach ministry is a benevolent service for those in our community. We gather and store “like-new” furniture and household items, and then distribute according to need. Our goal at Joseph’s Storehouse is to quickly come to the aid of our community when they are in need of furniture, but cannot afford to purchase it. All of our donations go to families with low incomes or who have suffered some kind of crisis.
Whether attending a KLCRC class, working with a mentor or coach, or participating in a facilitated group session, the love, care and professionalism of the KLCRC staff and volunteers model what service truly is when the principles of faith are put into action.  Their sole purpose is to serve God’s people in a way that uplifts them, their families and their community, so that they, too, will “soar on wings like eagles.” (Isaiah 40:31)

Our Vision

• To develop and continually refine the tools, services, and programs needed to support a community resource center in the greater Milford area.
• To be an informational resource that connects people in need with the services provided by the KLCRC, the Church, and the community, as well as federal, state, and local governments, agencies, and not-for-profit resources.
• To be “relevant” to the culture and people we serve.
• To present our faith-based services and programs in a way that includes and welcomes people of all faiths.
• To train and mobilize an army of people to do good work in our immediate churches and communities, as well as in other churches and communities.
• To provide service with a smile, with kindness, caring and love, and to go the “extra mile.”
• To provide a place for people to volunteer and serve God and all His people.
• To be a significant, recognizable partner and contributor to organizations and agencies in the community seeking compatible goals – both with our financial giving as well as in providing services, manpower, and volunteers.
• To create goodwill towards KLCC and KLCRC throughout the entire community.

• The KLCRC is governed by a Board of Directors. Both the Operations Director of KLCRC and the Pastoral Advisor report to the Board on the following: the Operations Director reports on the overall progress of the Center, its intake volume, the effectiveness of the classes, programs, support groups, counseling, and special events, etc.  The Pastoral Advisor reports on compliance to the spiritual, moral, and ethical standards defined by the Board (and validates that both the Center’s day to day operations, as well as its programs and services meet the above mentioned standards).
